Deerfield Beach, FL, December 7, 2007 – The producers of Today’s Family are pleased to announce an upcoming episode featuring Sancta Sophia Seminary. The educational institute will be showcased in a segment on “Modern Spiritual Education “as part of the “Touching Hearts, Changing Lives” series.

Located in the spiritually-oriented setting of Sparrow Hawk Village, in the Ozarks near Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Sancta Sophia Seminary opens its doors to all who seek personal growth, certification in spiritual vocations and/or degrees in a variety of fields of spiritual study. Established in 1977, the primary focus of Sancta Sophia is on the personal growth and transformation that underlie true spiritual progress. The educational institute is accredited through the Accrediting Commission International for Schools, Colleges, and Theological Seminaries, Inc.

The educational opportunities provided by Sancta Sophia combine directed home-study, on-campus classes, meditation techniques and practicums. Each enrolled student is assigned a personal advisor to guide in designing a specialized course of studies adapted to his or her particular abilities, interests and goals.

Students can enroll in a variety of programs including Foundations of Spirituality, Preparation for Christian Ministry, or Wellness Guide Certification which prepares students to establish a private practice and/or work in a counseling center, spa, professional association or corporation, and Spiritual Mentor Certification. The seminary also offers four master degrees, and five doctoral degrees. A board of governors with a deep understanding of the spiritual nature oversees the distinctive process of study, meditation and mentoring.
